The Story of Plastic

WHAT’S THE TRUE COST OF ALL THAT PACKAGING?

The Story of Plastics is a hard hitting documentary about the true cost of plastics from a human and environmental perspective. It takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and the people who inhabit it. Spanning three continents, the film illustrates the ongoing catastrophe: fields full of garbage, veritable mountains of trash, rivers and seas clogged with waste, and skies choked with the poisonous emissions from plastic production and processing.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion with local waste experts to discuss on what’s going on in Aotearoa to address the problem. This event is being held in both Wānaka & Queenstown. Film length: 1h35
